backtrack

Ok, had bit of a backtrack when I flew from London to Iceland. I know that's not going east but I really had the opportunity to see some of Iceland and I didn't want to miss it. So I'm not sorry that I had a westerly flight.
Today I am back on track as I go east again, back to London. Tomorrow I will continue east to Berlin, an early flight, and then I get to meet my hubby on Friday when he gets to Berlin from his job in Nigeria. Yea to that!
I get into London today at around 8 p.m. I have to retrieve one suitcase from the left luggage and then find my way to a hotel that is close to Stansted airport. Never flown from Stansted so I really have no idea where it is but apparently about 60 miles from Heathrow. Hubby looked up for me how to get there and I can take the National Express bus to Stansted and then find a taxi, probably. only problem is the National Express bus says it takes about 3 1/2 hours to get to Stansted. Wow, are they driving via Wales??? oh well, I could be making a new record tonight in that it might take me longer than 5 1/2 hours that it took last week to get from the airport to the hotel. I love to travel, just keep telling myself that.
